Hampshire 1, Woodstock North 0: A second half goal by Natalie Starrenburg was the difference in the Whip-Purs’ Fox Valley Conference Fox win over the Thunder. Lexi Maze had an assist and Haylee Moscato recorded 1 save in goal for Hampshire (9-6-4, 3-1). “The girls played a very complete game,” Hampshire coach Pat O’Brien said.

Cary-Grove 1, Dundee-Crown 0: The Trojans (10-4-1) were able to squeak past the Chargers (2-16, 0-4) on Jae Jay Usab’s second half goal in this FVC Valley matchup. Krystal Felderman made 2 saves and Korey Kronforst had an assist as well.

Jacobs 1, Crystal Lake South 0 (OT): The Golden Eagles (13-7-3, 3-2) and Gators needed extra time to settled a scoreless bout and in the 85th minute, Catie Sherman concluded matters with a golden goal for the win. Alyssa Koeppler managed to keep South scoreless with 6 saves.

Rockford Christian 4, Harvest Christian 2: Callie Arosen and Brittany Salazar both scored goals for the Lions (6-11-1) in a nonconference lost to Rockford Christian. Goalkeeper Tori Nelson had 10 saves but as head coach Basilio Salazar said afterward, the game could have been much different as 3 Harvest shots hit the post in the second half.

Huntley 2, McHenry 0: Scoreless at the half, the Red Raiders (10-5-4, 4-1) exploded with 2 goals in the second, 1 each by Beth Parks and Summer Campbell, to get the FVC Valley win over the Warriors. Jessica Galason had 1 save in goal.

Burlington Central 7, Harvard 0: Maddie Stoneman had 3 goals and an assist to help the Rockets (13-6-1, 7-1) sting the Hornets in Big Northern action. Alyssa Messina, Taylor Martin, Camille Dela Cruz (assist) and Cali Andrew (assist) had goals as well. Caitlin Solberg notched her 10th shutout of the season.
