Your news ‘Jersey Boys’ cast to return to ECC for concert

Submitted by ECC

After two consecutive seasons of sellout performances, Michael Ingersoll and the recent stars from Chicago’s long-running production of the hit Broadway musical “Jersey Boys” are returning to Elgin Community College’s Arts Center for another curtain call.

Tickets are now on sale for “Under the Streetlamp,” which will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at the college, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

The former “Jersey Boys” cast mates will be together for the entire show, belting out golden oldies, rock ‘n’ roll music, Rat Pack melodies and doo-wop hits to the beat of a 15-piece jazz orchestra.

Other highlights of the evening include inside stories about the performers’ experiences during “Jersey Boys,” which ended its Chicago run Jan. 10, 2010, and in show business.

Tickets for “Under the Streetlamp” are $48. Tickets for all performances in the ECC Arts Center are available online at tickets.elgin.edu or at the ECC box office located in the arts center. Box office hours are noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and noon to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday (phones only on Fridays and Saturday). To purchase tickets by phone, call (847) 622-0300.
