Nate Andersen recorded a multihit game with 2 hits while Kale (2 RBI), Connor Conzelman, and Henry Giegeous provided the runs batted in.

Crystal Lake South 13, Woodstock North 5: The Gators (11-4, 7-3) jumped out to an early 7-3 lead after one inning of play and never looked back as they defeated Woodstock North in this Fox Valley Conference game. Max Meitzler paced the Gators with a 2-for-3 effort with a double and 2 RBI. Ryan Price (2B) and Jeremy DeJesus drove in 3 runs each while Nick Martin belted a home run and added 2 RBI. Robbie Lemke (5-2) earned the victory throwing 5 innings while allowing 6 hits, 1 walk, and striking out seven.

Batavia 14, Elgin 4 (6 innings): The Maroons (2-10-1, 2-7-1) took an early 2-0 lead after the first inning of play, but couldn’t hold off the Bulldogs’ attack as they were defeated in Upstate Eight Conference play. Jacob Meyer (2 doubles, 2 RBI) and Javier Cardenas (RBI) each recorded 2 hits for the Maroons. D.J. Riggio (0-2) suffered the loss on the mound.

Dundee-Crown 9, Prairie-Ridge 3: The Chargers (12-9, 9-4) took advantage of 4 Prairie-Ridge errors and some timely hitting as they earned a Fox Valley Conference victory. Mike Hazelhurst (4-1) earned the victory on the mound as he threw 5 innings, scattering 8 hits, 2 earned runs, and 2 walks while striking out five. Nick Hathon went 2-for-3 with an RBI while Steve Schwartz recorded a home run and 2 RBI.

Huntley 6, Grayslake Central 2: Justin Gundlach (5-0) remained perfect on the year as he led the Red Raiders (15-1, 10-0) to a Fox Valley Conference victory. Gundlach threw a complete game as he scattered 6 hits while also turning in a 3-for-4, 2 RBI performance at the plate. Bryce Only (2B, 3 RBI) and Tyler Davila each went 2-for-3 for the Red Raiders while Kameron Sallee added a triple.
