Performing arts scholarship application now available
The Dennis Taylor Scholarship Foundation for the Performing Arts will be awarding college scholarships for the 2023-24 school year.
The deadline for submitting application materials is Saturday, April 1.
Interviews will be conducted by invitation and appointment only on Saturday, April 8, via Zoom. Please be sure to reserve this date.
Awards are available to students of voice, instrument, theatre and dance residing in Chicago's western suburbs.
Applicants may be post-secondary, undergraduate or graduate students who are majoring in the performing arts and who demonstrate a passion for performance. 32 grants and scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,200 have been awarded in the past five years

Applicants must prepare a video audition which can be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo with the link forwarded to the same email address.
Dennis Taylor served as a dancer, choreographer, actor, costumer, makeup artist, set dresser and wig stylist at dozens of suburban theaters, schools and colleges for more than five decades.
