Long Grove Arts and Music Council's 14th concert season

The Long Grove Arts and Music Council kicks off their 14th season on July 14 with the legendary Corky Segal performing with blues artist Will Tillson. This will be an evening of the best blues music Chicagoland has to offer. Our second concert follows on August 4th when Creole Stomp will entertain us with their classic spicy Cajun music. On August 11th Sons of the Never Wrong are back for the third time to entertain with their witty folk music. To end our season The Don Stiernberg Quartet will be on stage August 18th performing their master of mandolin music. This season will again be an abbreviated concert series due to the continuing renewal of downtown Long Grove. Access to the concert venue remains unencumbered. The closest parking is available at Kildeer elementary school.

Our concerts are family friendly, at a casual outdoor venue. Concerts take place on Towner Green directly across from the Village Tavern. Concerts begin at 4 PM and end at 6 PM. Bring your chairs and blankets early to get a prime location, and then wander the shops of Long Grove. Bring food and drink of your choice or order from one of our local restaurants to enjoy during the concerts. Nowhere in the northwest suburbs can you find this caliber of music in such a setting.

This concert series would not be possible without the generous contributions of many individuals, businesses and groups within the Village of Long Grove. First and foremost is the Village of Long Grove itself, which provided a generous grant to kick off the season. Also, we wish to give many thanks to the Towner family, who for years has graciously allowed us to use their property for the concerts. Other important supporters of the LGAMC include the Long Grove Confectionary, the Underwood family, the Rotary of Long Grove, Skycrest Animal Hospital, the Long Grove Business and Community Partners, and the Marshall family. Without the support of the above individuals, groups and businesses, the concert series would not be possible. The Long Grove Arts and Music Council wishes to express our deepest, heartfelt thanks for their continued support throughout the years.

Admission is free, but donations are appreciated to support and to help fund future concerts. .The generous support of those attending the concerts enables us to continue to present the finest quality entertainment.
