Take to the links at Arrowhead Golf Club for the Mike Williams Cosley Classic

Golfers will tee off at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton on Monday, Aug. 1, for the 2022 edition of the Mike Williams Cosley Classic Golf Outing.

It's golfing for the animals!

The day on the links is a fundraiser for Cosley Zoo, a facility of the Wheaton Park District.

Proceeds will help the zoo cover costs for animal care as well as support the zoo's education and conservation efforts.

"Please join us for a fun-filled day of golf, with a grab-and-go lunch from the grill and a steak dinner in the ballroom," said Shelley Chenoweth, director of development for the Cosley Zoo Foundation. "This exciting golf outing kicks off with a zoorific putt, but the fun doesn't stop there!

"Each of our three courses have hole games with fabulous prizes. You can even interact with our zoo animals while golfing," Chenoweth said. "And don't worry about getting your wallet out on the course. Before even getting to your cart, you can prepay for all the games and raffle tickets. We can't wait to see you on the course!"

Golfers may choose individual golfer tickets or packages for foursomes, along with a variety of sponsorship opportunities.

Tickets are $225 for individuals and $850 for each foursome.

Registration includes an 18-hole golf round with golf cart, lunch from the grill, a golfer gift, a variety of games and contests at select holes, a raffle, a silent auction, and a steak dinner.

Tickets for the dinner only are available for $60.

Ticketholders also will be eligible for a chance to win a YETI cooler stocked with wine and spirits.

Check in begins at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon.

Arrowhead Golf Club is located at 26W151 Butterfield Road in Wheaton.

This is event is sponsored by MKFM Law and by Borter Heating and Air Conditioning Company.
