'The First Six Months' at Wings Gallery Aug. 25 to Sept. 29

A collection of works by emerging painter Vito J. Corriero will be on display Thursday, Aug. 25, to Thursday, Sept. 29, in the Wings Student Gallery in the Student Resource Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.

“The First Six Months” is a collection ranging from action paintings to works with a clearer hierarchy.

Using hue, texture, medium, scale and mark, Corriero's works portray a range of emotions and, through the manipulation of light, illuminate the multitude of human perspective.

An opening reception will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, in the gallery.

The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, or by appointment.
