Alpaca farm holds open house June 11-12

Waldron Grove Alpacas, 39W856 McDonald Road in Elgin, will hold a Farm Open House from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12. It will be held rain or shine.

Learn all about fiber from the animal to the finished product. There will be felt and fiber demonstrations; alpaca yarn and roving; kits to learn felting; alpaca fiber art, including originally designed clothing and accessories available for purchase; and alpacas for sale.

There is no admission fee.

The Farm Store will be open 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Saturday by appointment.
