Addison Trail 12-16, Proviso East 1-0:Todd Brocksome went 6-for-7 on the day with 2 homers, a triple and 7 RBI for the Blazers (10-9, 5-6 West Suburban Gold). Anthony Catanese added 5 hits and 3 RBI. Anthony Milazzo (4-2) and Mike Imperiale (2-1) combined for 19 strikeouts and no walks on the mound. Downers South 11-12, Morton 5-0:Nick Vanek (4-1) fired a no-hitter with 7 strikeouts and a walk for the Mustangs (12-7, 5-3 West Suburban Gold) in a 5-inning Game 2 win. Matt Wivinis went 4-for-4 with 3 homers and 5 RBI in the opener as Nick Rizner improved to 4-1. Joe Rossi, Vanek and Kyle Engel combined for 8 RBI in the second game.
