"American Lapidary" will be on display June 10-Aug. 31 at the Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art, 220 Cottage Hill Ave., Elmhurst. The exhibit includes carvings and faceted stones by American artists. Museum admission costs $4, $3 for seniors, $2 for students and teens, $1 for children ages 7 to 12 and free for children 6 and younger and for everyone on Fridays. The Chicagoland Bicycle Federation will offer a bicycle commuter station from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. June 12 at the Elmhurst Metra Station, First Street and York Road. Local qualifying rounds for the Illinois State Senior Spelling Bee will be from 1 to 3 p.m. June 12 at York Township Senior Center, 1502 S. Meyers Road, Lombard.
