Reduced emissions program kicks off in Chicago area PRIDE Stores
ST. CHARLES, I.L. (June 1, 2017) - The PRIDE Stores, along with GreenPrint LLC, The Arbor Day Foundation, and other local partners, are proud to announce the launch of Purpose, a reduced emissions program.
Available to all drivers starting Thursday, June 1, Purpose is the first sustainability program of its kind in Illinois and can be found across all The PRIDE Stores in the Chicago area.
Starting today, local drivers can easily reduce their vehicle's emissions, plant trees, and lessen their impact on the environment by simply pumping the same high quality gas they've always purchased at The PRIDE Stores.
The Purpose program allows The PRIDE Stores' customers to support their local communities and environment by reducing tailpipe emissions every time someone fills up at The PRIDE Stores. It's really that easy! For every gallon and grade of gas sold at The PRIDE Stores locations in Chicagoland, Purpose plants trees in local parks and neighborhoods and invests in certified carbon emissions reduction projects to neutralize emissions by up to 25 percent of tailpipe emissions!

The Purpose program reduces customers' tailpipe emissions through GreenPrint's proprietary platform by planting trees and investing in local, regional, and global certified carbon reduction projects.
