CLC offers information on business careers

Information sessions on how to prepare for a variety of business careers will be offered by the College of Lake County over the summer.

CLC faculty will present information on educational requirements (associate degrees and certificates), salaries and projected demand for occupations in accounting, administrative office systems, computer information technology, hospitality and culinary management and paralegal studies.

The following business career programs will hold information sessions prior to the start of the 2015 Fall Semester. Unless noted, sessions will be held in the Technology Wing at the CLC Grayslake campus, 19351 W. Washington St.

• Accounting: Wednesday, July 15, from 6-6:50 p.m. in Room T231.

• Administrative Office Systems: Wednesday, July 22, from 5-5:50 p.m. in Room T217; Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 4:30-5:20 p.m. in Room T216.

• Computer Information Technology: Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 6-6:50 p.m. in Room T231.

• Hospitality and Culinary Management: Thursday, Aug. 20, from 5:30-7 p.m. in Room C001 (Prairie Restaurant).

• Paralegal Studies: Tuesday, July 28, and Thursday, Aug. 13, from 6-6:50 p.m. in Room T234.
