CLC hosts Robotics Festival June 10

See robotics in action at the College of Lake County from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, in the P.E. Center (Building 7) on the Grayslake campus, 19351 W. Washington St.

Activities and demonstrations include circuit building, soldering, lasers/photonics, 3-D printing, RC helicopters, drones and robotics demonstrations from area schools. Families, Scout groups, home school classes and community members of all ages are welcome.

The free event is part of a STEM outreach initiative to encourage students to learn about and consider pursuing STEM-related fields. Attendees may also pick up information about the CLC mechatronics and engineering programs, as well as noncredit summer camps and courses.
