Advocate Condell Medical Center Hosts Fifth Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration

Advocate Condell Medical Center invites people of all faith traditions to its fifth annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration on Sunday, November 24 at Advocate Condell Centre Club, 200 W. Golf Road.

The service will begin at 4 p.m. and feature leaders of the Baha'i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, and Muslim communities. Food and fellowship will follow at 5 p.m. Offerings will be collected to support local food ministries and Feed My Starving Children.

“Thanksgiving is a celebration of gratitude and giving thanks for our many blessings, no matter your religious tradition,” said Rev. Fred Rajan, Vice President of Mission and Spiritual Care at Advocate Condell.

Local clergy will be present from First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville, Annunciation of Our Lady Episcopal Church in Gurnee, Islamic Foundation North in Waukegan, Hindu Mandir of Lake County in Grayslake, Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Libertyville, Congregation Or Shalom in Vernon Hills, among others.
