Kick off holiday shopping with one-of-a-kind finds at Studio V

Looking to add a personal and unique touch to your gift giving this holiday season? Check out a variety of handcrafted items available at Studio V, a student-run boutique at Harper College that will celebrate its first anniversary later this month.

Studio V, a teaching lab for the college’s fashion merchandising students, will hold a holiday shopping event from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served. The store is housed in Building V, accessible from the Roselle Road entrance on Harper’s main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine.

Soaps and candles, jewelry, photography, sculptures, garments, toys and gift bags are just some of the items that make up the ever-evolving inventory, which comes from students, staff, faculty and community members alike.
