Pagan (10-3) was the winning pitcher, striking out 4, walking 2 and allowing 6 hits. The Hawks have won 7 straight and 11 of their last 12.

Ally Heischler and Liz Farwell added doubles for Westminster and Rachel Fugiel was the winning pitcher, allowing 3 hits with 7 strikeouts and no walks.

IC 7, St. Edward 3: Allison Stratman was 3-for-3 with an RBI and Kali Kossakowski went 2-for-2 with 2 doubles and an RBI for St. Edward (9-11, 4-6) in the Suburban Christian. Mariana Silva added a double for the Green Wave and Angela Zenteno was the losing pitcher.

Neuqua Valley 3, South Elgin 1: South Elgin had just 6 singles in losing this Upstate Eight Valley game at The Ballpark at Rosemont. Kara Rodriguez drove in South Elgin’s only run. Paige Allen suffered the loss for the Storm (13-9, 8-4).

Batavia 14, Streamwood 9: Melissa Malcom was 2-for-4 with a home run and 3 RBI for Streamwood in the Upstate Eight River. Losing pitcher Jessica Daley (3-for-4, 2B, 3B, 2 RBI), Brittany Delao (RBI) and Kylie Jambor (3-for-4, 2B, RBI) also contributed for the Sabres (5-15, 2-10).
