Burlington Central 12, Yorkville 2: Alex Bell was 3-for-5 with a home run and 4 RBI to lead the Rockets past Yorkville. Drew Wiss (2 RBI), Blake Alexander (RBI), Michael Scott (2B, 2 RBI), Bryan Cynova (2-for-4, RBI), Josh Lung (2B) and Mike Lee (3-for-4, 2 RBI) also contributed to Central's 12-hit attack. Ryan Anderson picked up the win for the Rockets (2-1), allowing 4 hits in 5 innings.

Elk Grove 2, Jacobs 1: Elk Grove scored twice in the seventh inning to hand Jacobs (4-1) its first loss of the season. Aaron Meciej (2-for-3) had an RBI for the Golden Eagles and Matt Hickey hit a double. Evan Blunk was the losing pitcher.

Rockford East 15, Westminster Christian 7: Tyler Mamrot was 2-for-4 with a triple and 4 RBI for the Warriors in this nonconference loss. Will Woodhouse (2-for-4) and Luke Weston (RBI) also contributed for Westminster. Brendan Ruffolo was the losing pitcher.

Prairie Ridge 7, Huntley 2: Anthony Dodge had a triple and Colin Green drove in a run for Huntley in this Fox Valley Conference Valley Division loss. Mason Martin was the losing pitcher for the Red Raiders (5-1, 0-1).
