Hampshire takes 3rd at DeKalb

Hampshire 50, Marmion 44: Tyler Crater scored 18 points and Shane Hernandez had 10 as the Whip-Purs (12-2) captured third place at the Chuck Dayton Tournament in DeKalb. Crater and Hernandez were each named to the all-tournament team as well.

Huntley 58, T.F. North 44: Bryce Only had 19 points, while Tommy Regan and Jake Wagner added 10 each to lead the Red Raiders (6-5) to a second straight win at the State Farm Classic in Bloomington.

Huntley 39, Thornwood 32: The Red Raiders (7-5) claimed the consolation title at the State Farm Classic with their second win of the day. Jake Wagner had 18 points to lead the way for Huntley.

St. Edward 72, Elmwood Park 57: Antonio Domel had 18 points and Adrian Ponce 13 as the Green Wave (13-2) rolled to their sixth straight win and earned a shot at the IC/Westmont tournament title. The Wave will play IC at Westmont at 7:30 p.m. today. St. Edward beat IC 51-39 to win the Westminster Christian Thanksgiving tournament. John Butzow added 10 points and Danny Favela had 8 for St. Edward Friday.

Streamwood 63, CICS Alcott 55: Zack Harris had 17 points to lead the Sabres (5-9) to a win at the Wheeling Hardwood Classic. Joel Lightbourne and Vince Williams each had 11 points and Trevious Norman added 10 for Streamwood, which snapped a 7-gane losing streak.

Westminster Christian 42, Harvard 33: Colin Brandon scored 12 points, while Will Woodhouse, Sam Carani and Dillon Rejman had 8 each to lead the Warriors (6-8) to a win at the Marengo tournament.

Cary-Grove 47, Hope 35: Decin McDonough had 12 points and Jason Gregiore added 10 as Cary-Grove (8-5) won at the Jacobs tournament.
