Bill Peterson endorses Gaffney in 52nd

On March 20th Republican voters will have the opportunity to nominate state Rep. Kent Gaffney as their candidate in the November election. Before being appointed to the legislature, after the death of Rep. Mark Beaubien, Kent Gaffney served as director of appropriations for the Illinois House Republican Caucus.

I served as chairman of the Senate Revenue Committee for many years and know how well Kent was respected by all involved in the budget process. His experience and record as a concerned and responsive legislator makes Kent the right choice to continue serving the 52nd district. My endorsement goes to Kent Gaffney in the March primary.

State Sen. William E. Peterson (retired)
