Judson loses in shootout: The Judson University men’s soccer team finished fourth at the NCAA National Tournament in Kissimee, Fla. The Eagles (14-9-2) tied Cedarville University 1-1 through regulation, but dropped the decision on penalty kicks, 4-3.

Trailing 1-0 in the 71st minute, Judson’s Danny Hinterlong scored on a free kick from 20 yards out to knot the match 1-1. There is no overtime in the consolation round of the tournament, so the contest went directly to a penalty kick shootout. Cedarville scored in its final four kicks of the shootout to grab third place.

It was the third straight NCCAA National Tournament appearance for the Eagles, who won the national title in 2009 and finished third in 2010.
