College of DuPage hosts author and speaker Mark Perna Oct. 27

Learn innovative strategies to connect with and motivate younger people to succeed at a free virtual presentation by author and generational expert Mark Perna. Join the virtual discussion from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Aimed at educators from K-12 through college, Perna's talk will cover techniques for working with today's younger generations. He will offer clear action steps designed to motivate young people, show them why education is important and empower them to achieve at a higher level in both the classroom and the workplace.

Perna is the founder and CEO of strategic communications and consulting firm TFS Results. As an international expert on Generations Y and Z, he has devoted his career to empowering educators and employers to help young people reach their full potential. His 2018 best-selling book, "Answering Why: Unleashing Passion, Purpose and Performance in Younger Generations," received the Independent Publisher Book Award for Parenting from Independent Publisher Magazine.
