Faculty, Student Ensembles Perform at the MAC in October

Faculty and student performers will be highlighted at two concerts in October at the McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd., in Glen Ellyn.

Faculty members Marcia Lehe, Dr. Karol Sue Reddington, David J. Rice, Carolyn May, Cynthia Trowbridge, Anthony Perry, Donna Rice, Geoffrey Lowe and Larry Ortega collaborate on works by various artists at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, in the MAC's Playhouse Theatre. The evening's program includes Astor Piazzolla's "Tangos for Two Pianos," George Gershwin's "Embraceable You," and Benard Ighner's "Everything Must Change."

"We invite all to enjoy an evening of diverse music presented with precision and flair by our talented faculty," said Pam Eiten, Applied Music coordinator. "Your spirit will fly along with the flute, dance the tango along with a piano duo, and rock along with the jazz ensemble."

Students from the College's Percussion Ensemble, Small Group Jazz, Chamber Singers, Concert Choir and Chamber Orchestra have an opportunity to highlight their talent as they perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in the MAC's Belushi Performance Hall.

Tickets to both concerts are $6. Advance $5 tickets are available to College of DuPage students.
