Learn about diabetes management March 13

Barrington, IL- Have you been living with diabetes or have been recently diagnosed? There can be many challenges that come along with dealing with diabetes, and it is important to keep it under control at all times.

Join Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital and Dr. Daniel So, MD for an informational session about diabetes management.

Dr. Daniel So, MD has 16 years of experience and practices in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, and Endocrinology and Metabolism. He will be discussing current options for diabetes management.

Approximately 25.8 million adults and children in the United States have diabetes. If uncontrolled, diabetes can lead to many other health related problems such as:

• Low blood sugar

• Digestive problems

• Blurred vision, cataracts, glaucoma

• Fatigue

• Gum disease

• Burning or shooting pain in feet, hands, or other parts of the body

With symptoms such as these and more, it is extremely important to make sure your diabetes are under control.
