Biographer to speak at Girl Scouts' annual meeting
Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois is proud to welcome Stacy Cordery, nationally noted biographer and author of "Juliette Gordon Low: The Remarkable Founder of Girl Scouts," to the council's annual meeting from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 31 at Chicago Marriott Northwest, 4800 Hoffman Blvd. in Hoffman Estates.

Cordery will present information from her book on the woman who founded the Girl Scout Movement in 1912 as Girl Scouts nationwide celebrate the organization's 100th year in 2012.
