College of DuPage and National Louis University Announce a New Enhanced 2+2 Articulation Agreement for a Bachelor of Arts
College of DuPage and National Louis University have announced a new Enhanced 2+2 Articulation Agreement that enables students to transfer seamlessly from COD to NLU to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, Criminal Justice Administration degree from the university.
The new program is designed for students who are working toward either an Associate of Arts (A.A.) or Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) Criminal Justice degree at College of DuPage.
Under the new 2+2 articulation agreement, COD students will be guided through an academic plan that ensures a smooth transition to National Louis University. COD students may transfer up to 80 hours of credit to NLU to receive an A.S. or A.A.S. Criminal Justice degree from College of DuPage and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, Criminal Justice Administration degree from National Louis University.
"This agreement offers an exciting, innovative approach to traditional transfer programs," said Emmanuel Awuah, COD Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs. "We are extremely pleased to work with National Louis University to provide students with an opportunity to earn both their associate and bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, a profession that - according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics - is expected to grow by more than 10 percent through 2018."

College of DuPage is an accredited community college that serves more than 29,000 students each term. The College, which grants nine associate degrees and more than 170 certificates in 100 areas of study, is the second largest provider of public undergraduate education in Illinois. COD houses the Homeland Security Training Institute (HSTI), a facility that is unique to DuPage County and the Midwest, leading the region in terms of the latest advances in immersive training. The Institute focuses on education for law enforcement, fire science, first responders and corporate security personnel in the area of homeland security, as well as safety information for community members.
