14 winners named for 37th annual Valor Awards dinner Oct. 30
The Hundred Club of DuPage County is proud to announce their 2019 Valor Award winners.
This year, there are 14 amazing Valors:
• Officer Anthony Gomez dela Casa, Bolingbrook Police Department
• Firefighter/Paramedics Jason Kanzia, Patrick Coulter, and Lt. James Jones of the Carol Stream Fire Protection District;
• Firefighter Craig Williams of the Wheaton Fire Department
• Officer Daniel Herrera of the Lombard Police Department
• Officer Jordan Koziel of the Naperville Police Department
• Officers Nicholas Baca, Jeffrey Marek, George Peterson, Timothy Walsh and, Sergeant Danny Ramirez of the Oak Brook Police Department
• Officers Kevin Perez and Bryan Shelton of the Wood Dale Police Department.

The 37th annual Valor Awards Dinner will be Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Lisle/Naperville Hilton, 3003 Corporate West Drive in Lisle. The social hour will be 6 to 7 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person.
The Hundred Club Award of Valor is a life-long honor of law enforcement officers and firefighters chosen by their peers for heroic actions above and beyond the normal expectations of their duties and their jobs.
The Hundred Club of DuPage County established in September 1982, is a private, non-profit charitable organization incorporated under the laws of the state of Illinois. The Hundred Club of DuPage County offers assistance to families of law enforcement and firefighting personnel who have been killed, injured, or otherwise stricken while residing or working in the county.
