COD to Host 'The Way of Pain: Responses to Evil and Suffering' Oct. 29

The Philosophy and Religious Studies program at College of DuPage will host "The Way of Pain: Responses to Evil and Suffering" from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, in the Health and Science Center, Room 1234, on the College's main campus, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.

This event is free and open to the public.

During this discussion, panelists will address philosophical and religious ways to respond to the question of why there is suffering in human existence and ways to justify and find value in existence despite suffering.

The Philosophy and Religious Studies program at College of DuPage provides students with introductory and specialized courses that explore the development of humankind's ideas and value systems.
