COD Hosts Adult Education Expo April 19: Discover Culture, Talent and Possibilities

The Continuing Education department at College of Dupage will host a free Adult Education Expo from 9 a.m. to noon and again from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, in the Student Resource Center, Room 2000, on the College's main campus, 425 Fawell Blvd., in Glen Ellyn.

This event is free and open to the public and includes information on a number of free resources available to adult learners, including: Adult Basic Education (ABE), a program that prepares students to earn their High School Equivalency certificate (GED); GED testing; the new ICAPS program, which allows eligible students to earn in-demand certifications and College credit; and the English Language Acquisition (ELA) program. Additionally, attendees can enroll in COD classes, explore educational and career pathways, learn about diverse cultures, find inspiration through student success stories, and enjoy a student talent show.

Representatives from several of the College's departments, including Academic ESL, Continuing Education, Manufacturing Technology, Health and Sciences, Early Childhood, and Travel and Tourism also will be available to provide information and answer questions.

College of DuPage offers a broad range of programs and resources to adult learners who are interested in life enhancements in personal and professional development.
