Energetic performances, thought-provoking speakers and dynamic displays were among the festivities at College of DuPage's Black History Month celebration. Events were sponsored by the College's Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion. The celebration kicked off Feb. 1 with performers from the African Dance and Music Institute and concluded with a rousing performance by Soul Children of Chicago. Additionally, the McAninch Arts Center created and produced the inaugural "Apollo Live" student talent competition. Click here for more images from February's events.
