Learn About 'The Psychology of Video Games' Nov. 4 at College of DuPage
College of DuPage alum and Psychology Adjunct Professor Dr. Patrick O'Connor will discuss the potential harms and surprising benefits of video games from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the Student Services Center, Room 3245, on the Glen Ellyn Campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.
In addition to writing on geek culture and psychology, Dr. O'Connor frequently presents at major conventions, including San Diego Comic-Con, WonderCon, C2E2, Chicago Comic Con, PAX East and others.
The free event is sponsored by the College's Game Development and Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Gaming clubs, Psi Beta, and the Mental Health Awareness Team.
