COD's September 'Images' highlights fall semester, surgical technology and fashion studies programs
"Images," College of DuPage's monthly one-half hour television show, features in its September edition segments on the start of the 2015 semester and the College's Surgical Technology and Fashion Studies programs.
Each month, "Images" highlights the personalities, news and curriculum of a vibrant College of DuPage campus. The show airs on 13 area cable television stations.
The September "Images" highlights the opening days of the College's 2015-2016 academic year. More than 24,000 students were welcomed back to campus the week of Aug. 24 and the start of term was highlighted by various Student Life activities, including live band karaoke, bungee bull rides and an ice cream social. The show also features segments on the College's Surgical Technology and Fashion Studies programs. Each program uses classroom, lab and clinical settings to give students valuable hands-on experience. Students from each discipline offer their thoughts on the programs' strengths and faculty and instructors over a general overview of the curriculum and its relevance to today's job market. This month's show also highlights the College's Career Services department.
Images airs at various times on cable television stations in Downers Grove, Wheaton, Addison, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Glendale Heights, Bartlett, Lemont, Elk Grove, Darien, Aurora and West Chicago. Check local cable listings for times and channels.
