College Theater Presents 'The Dreams of Antigone'

College Theater presents "The Dreams of Antigone" from Thursday, April 17, to Sunday, April 27, in the Playhouse Theater of the McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.

Performances are 8 p.m. Thursdays to Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays.

Directed by Connie Canaday Howard, Curt Columbus' adaptation of Sophocles sheds a contemporary light on the classical characters, bringing to stage what it means to be a person who acts in an extraordinary fashion while misguided power dictates fate.

A pre-show discussion is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. Thursday, April 17. A post-show discussion is scheduled for Friday, April 18.
