Girl Scouts Seeks Local Girls to Appear in Anti-Bullying Rock Opera Video!

Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois (GSNI) is currently casting local girls, ages 11-16, for roles in their upcoming rock opera video. The organization is especially looking for girls with backgrounds in music, theater or dance. Interested girls should e-mail pr@girlscoutsni.org with “Audition” in the subject line. In-person auditions will be held in May with a video shoot in June.

Auditions are open to all girls, not just Girl Scouts. If selected for a role, girls will be expected to attend all rehearsals and video-recording sessions and register as a Girl Scout to perform. Girls appearing in the video will receive exciting Girl Scout program opportunities and have the opportunity to participate in a Girl Scout Journey Series!

GSNI is working with nationally renowned videographers at Comtech Corporation to produce the video with hopes of raising national awareness to stop bullying through the acceptance and friendship found in the Girl Scout Movement. Comtech Corporation information is available at http://www.comtechcorporation.com/.
