COD hosts Scholarships 101 workshops March 1, April 17

The College of DuPage Office of Student Financial Assistance will host two free workshops, “Applying for Scholarships 101,” on Thursday, March 1, at noon and Tuesday, April 17, at 5 p.m.

Both sessions will be held in the Student Services Center, Room 2201.

During these programs, Scholarship Coordinator Brenda Marcy will discuss how to safely search for scholarships and avoid scholarship scams.

She will also provide tips on the best way to write a scholarship essay.

These sessions are part of a comprehensive series, “Let's Talk Money,” at COD that will provide general information about financial assistance, scholarships and understanding student loans.
