COD adds 30 new certificates, 10 degree programs
College of DuPage has developed 30 new credit certificate programs and 10 new degree programs since President Robert L. Breuder's arrival in January 2009.
“College of DuPage has developed programs under President Breuder's leadership that reflect the needs of emerging and rapid-growth industries and professions,” said COD Chairman David Carlin. “It is essential that we continue to reinvent our programs to offer our students the best workforce training and transfer opportunities available.”
A new program must first be approved by the COD Board of Trustees and then by the Illinois Community College Board. College of DuPage currently offers a total of 77 degree and 151 certificate programs.
“We are providing our community with meaningful education that results in jobs and unlimited opportunities for the future,” said COD President Dr. Robert L. Breuder. “These new programs, combined with our success developing 3+1 programs with multiple four-year institutions, are redefining higher education in our region.”
