Walsh throws complete game in Naperville Central win
Glenbard East 2, Naperville Central 1:Pat Walsh (3-1) threw a complete game for the Rams (6-10, 3-4 DuPage Valley Conference) and stranded runners on second and third in the bottom of the fourth by striking out three straight batters. He then stranded the tying run at third base to end the game. Walsh also blasted a solo homer. Tanner Giesel went 2-for-4 with an RBI while Drew Bailey homered and drove in 3 runs. Addison Trail 17, Proviso West 4:Scott Babica, Anthony Kalbus and Stephen Gilliam combined for 6 hits and 6 RBI for the Blazers (8-9) in their five-inning West Suburban Conference crossover win.
