Fecho earns win for Glenbard North

Glenbard North 6, Naperville North 5: Winning pitcher Lilly Fecho (13-5) doubled and drove in 2 runs for the Panthers in Naperville. Kelsey Muller went 3-for-4 and scored a run and Susan Lindstrom 2-for-4 with a run batted in for Glenbard North (15-5, 6-2 DuPage Valley Conference).

West Chicago 2, Wheaton North 0: Rachel Johnson's fifth-inning RBI double broke a scoreless tie, and Jen Konchar doubled and drove in a run later in the fifth. Mary Connolly (18-4) scattered 5 hits, striking out five for West Chicago (21-6, 7-1 DVC). Elisabeth Holaway went 3-for-4 for Wheaton North (15-6, 3-5), who left eight runners on base.

West Aurora 2, Naperville Central 0: Francesca Evischi tossed a 2-hitter, striking out five, as the Blackhawks (16-12, 2-6 DVC) upended the Redhawks (14-10, 4-4) in Aurora. Evischi's double drove in Maribeth Vazquez, who had singled with two outs in the fourth, to break the scoreless tie.

WW South 9, Glenbard East 1: Katie Ottolin homered and Kristen Santora went 3-for-3 with a double, 3 RBI and 2 runs scored for the host Tigers (13-13, 3-5 DVC).

Benet 12, Fenwick 4: Maeve McGuire went 3-for-4 with a homer, double, 4 RBI and 2 runs scored for the host Redwings (14-11, 6-4 East Suburban Catholic Conference), who exploded for 7 runs in the bottom of the first. Shellie Schaffer went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI.

Glenbard West 7, Hinsdale Central 0: Taylor Steinhilber (8-6) twirled a 1-hitter, striking out seven, and the Hilltoppers supported her with a 4-run fourth in Hinsdale. Dayle Comerford doubled and drove in a run and Michele Waggoner had an RBI for Glenbard West (10-11, 5-1 West Suburban Silver).

Downers Grove North 9, York 2: Kendall Ryndak (10-3) struck out eight for the Trojans (19-5, 6-1 West Suburban Silver), who won their sixth straight game.

Downers Grove South 10, Addison Trail 0: Danielle Trezzo hit her ninth homer of the year, going 4-for-4 with a double, 2 RBI and 3 runs scored for the host Mustangs (18-3, 7-0 West Suburban Gold). Marissa Mersch went 3-for-3 with a double and scored 3 runs.

Immaculate Conception 18, Aurora Christian 2: Freshman Maria Kieliszewski hit for the cycle, driving in 6 runs for the Knights (15-7, 10-1 Suburban Christian Conference Gold). Katelyn Conenna doubled, tripled and had 3 RBI.

Lisle 15, Reed-Custer 3: Melanie Early doubled, tripled, scored 3 runs and had 2 RBI for the Lions (12-8, 8-4 Interstate Eight Conference), who put up 8 runs in the second inning. Jackie Todd went 3-for-4 and scored 3 runs.
