Hoffman Estates Jaycees raises funds for Wine To Water

The Hoffman Estates Jaycees held a fundraiser to benefit Wine To Water™ on March 21st at Shark City in Glendale Heights in observance of World Water Day on March 22nd.

Wine To Water™ is a non-profit aid organization focused on providing clean water to people in need around the world. Today, nearly 800 million people in the world lack access to adequate water and 2.5 billion people lack access to improved sanitation. We are devoted to fighting this epidemic. Wine symbolizes fortune in our society. Our goal is to give the fortunate population an opportunity to fight for those who can't fight for themselves.

Project chair, Navylia Abele, and the Hoffman States Jaycees would like to thank the owners of Shark City for holding the event. Thank you to Rumor Hazit and Modern Day Romeos for providing the entertainment. Thank you also to the Palatine Jaycees for providing a number of volunteers to help with the event. A special thanks to Jennifer Lindsay for her generous donation to Wine To Water™. The event raised 167% of the goal that was set by Navylia and crew.
