Moms United-Marengo to host '4 Momz 2 Momz Resale' March 21-22

Moms United of Marengo invites the community to its "Spring 4Momz2Momz Resale Event" from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21, and 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, March 22, in the commons area at Marengo Community High School, 110 Franks Road. Select items will be 50 percent off on Sunday.

Moms United uses the proceeds to support programs for women. Resellers get a cut of the profits. Recycling gently used items helps limit our carbon footprint, and unsold items go to help the needy.

Everything you need for spring and summer - clothes, books, toys, baby gear, strollers, bicycles. Not just for kids anymore, they have clothing, books, games, and DVDs for the adults in the family, too. All this for just $1 admission fee.

The common area offers a bright, well-organized shopping experience. Moms United Quality Assurance group makes sure everything is clean and in good repair. Puzzles and games have all of their pieces, and books have no pages ripped out.

Moms United began in 2002 as a non-denominational ministry housed at Zion Lutheran Church in Marengo. Moms meet once a month for encouragement, learning, and fellowship with other area moms. Each meeting includes brunch and a speaker who addresses such timely topics as parenting, marriage, personal growth, and much more. Moms United provides childcare during the meetings. The group also works on many service projects throughout the year.
