Established by a handshake in a vineyard in 1998 by longtime colleagues and friends Steve Dutton and Dan Goldfield, Dutton-Goldfield Winery has since grown to more than 1,000 acres in more than 80 separate vineyards located throughout western Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, California. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are the mainstays of Dutton-Goldfield production, along with small lots of Syrah, Zinfandel, Pinot Blanc and Gewürztraminer. Using fruit from carefully chosen vineyards, the winery produces crisp, well-structured wines that reflect the complexity, balance and intensity associated with cool-climate vineyards.
