CLC offers information sessions on business fields

Information sessions on how to prepare for a variety of business careers will be offered by the College of Lake County this spring and summer. CLC faculty will present information on educational requirements (associate degrees and certificates), salaries and projected demand for occupations in accounting, computer information technology, hospitality and culinary management and paralegal studies.

The following business career programs will hold information sessions prior to the start of the 2014 summer session and fall semester. Unless noted, sessions will be held in the Technology Building at the CLC Grayslake campus, 19351 W. Washington St.

Accounting: Wednesday, April 16 from 6-6:50 p.m. in Room T345.

Paralegal Studies: Monday, April 28 from 9-9:50 a.m. and 6:30-7:20 p.m. in Room T323; Tuesday, May 13 from 9-9:50 a.m. in Room T323 and 6-6:50 p.m. in Room T333; Thursday, July 31 from 6-6:50 p.m. in Room T333; Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 6-6:50 p.m. in Room T333.

Hospitality and Culinary Management: Wednesday, June 4 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the C Wing, Room C001; Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 5:30-7 p.m. in Room C001.

Computer Information Technology: Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 6-6:50 p.m. in Room T117.
