Feng helps Fremd stay unbeaten in MSL

In a battle of previously undefeated Mid-Suburban League girls golf teams, Fremd fired a 155 to defeat Barrington (168) on Tuesday.

Conant was third in the tri-meet with a 178 at the Makray Memorial Golf Club in Barrington.

Dorothy Feng led three Vikings who scored under 40.

Feng fired a 36 followed by Jennifer Kim (37) and JaeHee Hur (39), Haezi Jung completed the Fremd card with a 43. Barrington was led by Reena Sulkar (36), Kelly Umphred (43), Bailee McDonald (44) and Shivani Majmudar (45). Carly Bryeans led Conant with a 38.

Prospect d Schaumburg: Senior Noreen Caporusso, who recently returned to the course following knee surgery in early May, fired her best round of the season with a 35 at the Mt. Prospect Golf Course where the Knights won 159-212.

Isabella Flack (39), Kiley Walsh (40) and Bridget Brassil (45) had the next best scores for the Knights, who remain unbeaten in the MSL along with Fremd.
