Sept. 17 Travel Talks! highlights 2014 schedule

Community Education Travel (CET) will elaborate on the 2014 Calendar, as well as talk about tours remaining for 2013, at a Travel Talks! Session on Tuesday, September 17 from 1:30-5 pm. The session will be held at Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights.

Attendees should enter Door 2 at the front of the building by the flag pole (park in Lots A or B). There will be several breakout sessions providing more in-depth information on several CET destinations. These include: an overview to be given by CET Manager Linda Kerr, Scandinavia, 2014 day trips, Poland, Northern U.S. national parks, Los Angeles and San Diego, Lincoln's hometown, Asheville and Biltmore, Kentucky, Mississippi River Cruise, Paris/Normandy River Cruise, Cape Cod, and Colorado Springs Getaway.

CET staff, volunteers and travel partners will be on hand to answer questions on all upcoming tours, day trips and motor coach tours, as well as supply informational brochures.
