Tied after four quarters of regulation and two overtime periods, Palatine finally claimed a 15-14 victory with a sudden-death goal at Conant in Mid-Suburban West girls water polo on Thursday.

At the end of the fourth, Rachel Chumbook scored on a penalty shot with 11 seconds left to put the Pirates up by a goal. But Conant's Angela Skittone tied it back up with 1 second left with a rebound goal.
