Tipping the Grill's cap
Weber Grill introduces a new dinner menu that tips its cap to the restaurant's founder, George Stephen. With an emphasis on Midwestern ingredients, it includes dishes such as the grilled pasture-raised lamb chops with rosemary scalloped potatoes and dried cherry and caramelized onion compote for $48, or the plank-grilled sea bass with smoked basil vinaigrette and grilled asparagus.

Sláinte's new menu
McHenry County College's student-run restaurant, Sláinte, introduces a new three-course menu of baked potato soup as the starter; entrees that include a salmon BLT sandwich with dill sauce and lemon risotto, grilled pork chop with mustard brandy sauce, and ricotta ravioli on a spinach and mushroom bed; and dessert of fruit sushi, made with sweet rice and strawberry and kiwi sauce. The cost is $20 to $25 per person and it's available from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday through April 23 in the MCC Scot Room, Building B, Room 178.

Eddie Merlot's prix fixe
Eddie Merlot's currently offers a three-course dinner for $32.95. Now through March 31, choose your first course from barbecue chicken flatbread, Caesar salad, soup of the day or tuna wontons. Second course options include half a roasted chicken, flat-iron steak, trout almondine and cedar planked salmon. Third course offerings are mixed berry tart, coconut cream pie or sorbet.
