Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance

Famous Fido Rescue and Adoption Alliance saves the lives of animals that are about to be euthanized. This is a never-ending problem because there is an ever-growing problem of animal abandonment in Chicago. We currently have over 50 animals that we are trying to find homes for. Famous Fido tries to help as many cats and dogs as possible, while promoting a No-Kill philosophy and working towards making Chicago into a No-Kill city.
Currently, we have a wonderful pit-bull terrier who needs to find a furever home!

"Brownie is a handsome, eight-month-old, 50-pound, male Pit Bull Terrier looking for a loving guardian. Brownie is fun and playful with people, as well as other dogs. He loves to play ball, and fetch. He was found as a stray, but he walks well on leash, is housebroken and already knows the commands "sit" and "paw." He also takes treats gently and is full of kisses and tail wags for everyone he meets. Brownie is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all shots. For more information on adopting Brownie, please contact Famous Fido Rescue at 773-907-0305."

We (including Brownie!) thank you for reading this! He has been boarding at Famous Fido for a long time now, without generating much interest. He was rescued from a kill shelter and deserves a second chance at a happy life. We are reaching out to the suburbs and communities outside of Chicago because our bigger dogs thrive better outside the city, but they don't get the exposure there. Please consider giving Brownie a home!
