Support Brownfield in D23 Senate race

In just a week, you and I will be heading to the polls to vote in the Democratic primary election. When I get to the State Senate race, I am voting for Greg Brownfield, legal aid attorney from Bartlett. I hope you will join me.

I met Greg Brownfield in 2010 and got involved with his campaign for the Illinois General Assembly because as a union laborer, I was frustrated with how lawmakers were shifting dedicated road construction dollars to be used for other purposes, and causing me to have to tell good folks that they were out of a job.

I was immediately impressed with Greg’s passion for working men and women, for finding practical solutions to our jobs crisis that could help all of us better support our families.

Greg is one of us, and I believe he truly will be a voice for the voiceless in Springfield.

As the Daily Herald said in the endorsement of Greg:

“Brownfield offers the strongest hope for balancing thoughtful independence and effective leadership.”

This is exactly what we need in Springfield; bright, fresh new faces with the capacity to get things done on behalf of real people.

Please join me in voting Greg Brownfield on March 20 in the Democratic Primary.
