Elgin Master Chorale hosts open rehearsal Sept. 4

Choral singers interested in joining the Elgin Master Chorale are invited to attend an open rehearsal from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, at the Elgin Community College Arts Center Building H, 1700 Spartan Drive in Elgin.

The open rehearsal will provide prospective Elgin Master Chorale members an opportunity to experience the joy of singing with the area's premier large chorus in a rehearsal of selections that the master chorale will perform in October with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra in a concert called "American Spectacular."

Refreshments and an opportunity to meet current Elgin Master Chorale members will follow the open rehearsal. No RSVP is required.
