Wheaton North stops Naperville North

Wheaton North 5, Naperville North 2: Rachel Holaway's walkoff 3-run homer with two outs in the seventh lifted the Falcons (10-4, 1-0 DuPage Valley Conference), who trailed 2-0 going into the bottom of the sixth.

Naperville Central 3, Glenbard North 2: Jori Gonzalez tripled with two outs in the bottom of the seventh and scored on Stephanie Lynch's single for the Redhawks (9-2, 1-0 DVC). Naperville Central trailed 2-0 until the sixth, when Megan Silke cracked a two-out, 2-run homer.

West Chicago 4, Glenbard East 1: Mary Connolly (9-0) struck out 10 for West Chicago (13-1, 1-0 DVC).

West Aurora 1, WW South 0: Stephanie Becker struck out 13 and the visiting Blackhawks scored an unearned run in the fourth.

Benet 4, Carmel 0: Meghan Eastman (7-3) struck out nine and Lindsey Rohan went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Benet (9-3, 3-0 East Suburban Catholic Conference).

St. Francis 6, Rosary 2: Bri Pasquale went 2-for-3 and slugged a solo homer in the second for St. Francis (13-2, 2-0 Suburban Catholic Conference), which won its 11th straight.

Driscoll 7, St. Edward 6: Lisa Matsie went 3-for-4 and drove in 4 runs for the Highlanders (5-9, 2-0 Suburban Catholic Conference), who rallied with 2 runs in the sixth and 3 in the seventh.

Montini 9, Immaculate Conception 1: Lara Mangialardi went 3-for-4 with 4 RBI and struck out seven on the mound for Montini (6-3, 2-1 Suburban Catholic Conference).

Hinsdale South 16, Proviso East 0: Dana Capocci (1-1) struck out 12 in a no-hitter for the Hornets (8-2, 1-1 West Suburban Gold).
