College of DuPage Open House to be Held April 26
College of DuPage will showcase its programs and facilities during the COD Open House from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, in the Student Services Center Atrium.
Sponsored by the Admissions and Outreach office, the free event targets prospective students, their parents and the community and provides a variety of ways to learn more about the College:
“Discover Why College of DuPage Should Be Your FIRST Choice” will be presented during three half-hour sessions at 6, 7 and 8 p.m.
“Transfer Options,” including information on COD's innovative 3+1 partnerships with area baccalaureate institutions, will take place at 6 and 8 p.m.
Chris Miller, associate professor of Speech and one of 2012's Outstanding Faculty of the Year, will present “What to Expect in a College Classroom” at 7 p.m.
Campus tours will leave continuously from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Faculty, student services representatives, and student club and organization members will be available to speak one-on-one throughout the event.
“We provide so much information about the College during this Open House,” said Tracey Dulceak, Student Recruitment assistant at College of DuPage. “It's an ideal time for prospective students and their parents to learn more about us.”
